Dark and Stormy Night

Scott Abernathy - Friday, June 14, 2013

It was a dark and stormy night. The rain was pelting the rim of my fedora and my overcoat was soaking wet. I was jonesing for some nicotine, but it was just too dang windy to light a cigarette. I rapped on the front door so hard it sounded like the police trying to serve an arrest warrant. All I needed to do was let the current resident know that they were not allowed to have a pet. The door suddenly opened and to my surprise I saw…

OK, not really. I was just trying to find a way to make my first blog post interesting enough for you to keep reading. Did it work?

Welcome to my blog. Don’t worry, I will not be writing works of fiction but will attempt to keep you informed on vital real estate, landlord and tenant issues…and have a little fun along the way.

At any time please feel free to comment on my website, www.RentFromScott.com, or email me at RentFromScott@gmail.com. You can also find RentFromScott on Facebook. I would love to hear what you think. If you have a topic you would like for me to address let me know, I’m always looking for ideas.

Thanks for reading. By the way, I don’t smoke…anymore.
